Groupon Hits Boise

Online shopping and flash sales site Groupon said today that it has lauched its services in Boise, Idaho, bringing the firm's total cities in the world covered to 150. Groupon sends out daily deals on local businesses via email, which usually include large discounts to services from local retailers and service providers. Those deals are only valid if enough people sign up for the deal. Groupon--which is based in Chicago--is one of a large number of startups recently launched in the daily deals and social shopping market.
