Medicity Wins California Hospital

Salt Lake City-based Medicity, a provider of health care information systems, reported today that it has signed Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital, in Newport Beach, California. Medicity said it will build a community-wide, health information exchange for the hospital. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Medicity's offerings will be used to provide electronic health record access to physicians, health plans, business partners, and patients at the hospital.
