Intermap Wins Audi

Denver-based Intermap Technologies, which sells 3D digital mapping data, said today that it has signed a deal with Audi Electronics Venture GmbH. According to Intermap, its 3D road geometry data for all of Germany's roads to Audi's VW Group, as part of a research and development effort there. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Intermap said it has a dataset that covers more than one million line kilometers of road centerline and elevation data for Germany, which is being used for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) and energy management systems on automobiles.
