CrimeReports Hires Marketing VP

Draper, Utah-based CrimeReports, which operates an online web site which mashes up crime reports from law enforcement agencies with online maps, said Thursday afternoon that it has hired Scott Kinzie as its Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Strategy. Kinzie joins the firm from Gaia Online, where he was VP, Creative and User Experience. Kinzie also has served at Ancestry.com and Heritage Makers. CrimeReports said that Kinzie will focus on creating tools that will "revolutionize the way law enforcement agencies share information."
