IXYS Launches Solar Powered Products

Fort Collins-based IXYS Corporation, a developer of power management semiconductors and mixed signal ICs, said today that it has launched its own line of branded, portable products. According to the firm, it has launched a new line of handheld, solar powered products under the IXYSSOLAR brand, including a line of rechargeable alkaline batteries; a solar rechargeable flashlight; a solar battery charger; and a personal alarm device. The firm said all of the products integrate its IXYS Solar-Bit technology, to charge their batteries.
