SendGrid Snags $5M

Boulder-based SendGrid, one of the firms out of TechStars, said today that it has raised $5M in a round of funding, from Foundry Group and Highway 12 Ventures. The firm, which develops email software which helps ensure delivery and gather analytics about emails, also said that Postini founder Scott Petry and Wordpress founder Matt Mullenweg also participated as angels in the funding. As part of the funding, Ryan McIntyre of Foundry Group joins the company's board of directors. SendGrid is headed by Isaac Saldanahas. More information »
