Level 3 Wins Game Studio

Broomfield, Colorado-baesd Level 3 Communications has gained a new customer for its content deliver network (CDN) services. The firm said that Icarus Studios, the developer of a massively multiplayer online game called Fallen Earth, is using the firm for caching, download, and storage services. Financial impact of the deal was not announced. Level 3's CDN services are used to reduce the load on a company's servers, and to serve up high bandwidth graphics and game objects.
