Pondera Engineers Acquired By Trimble

Post Falls, Idaho-base dPondera Engineers, a developer of software and services for designing and siting high voltage power transmission and distribution lines, has been acquired by Silicon Valley firm Trimble. Trimble announced the deal this morning, but did not disclose any financial details of the buy. According to Trimble, the acquisition is part of a strategic initiative to bring productivity solutions to the electric utilities industry. Trimble did not details its plans for Pondera Engineers' Post Falls location.
