Wildblue Becomes Part of ViaSat

Greenwood Village, Colorado-based satellite Internet communications provider WildBlue Communications is now officially part of ViaSat, the firms said Tuesday afternoon, as ViaSat's acquisition of WildBlue officially completed. Viasat said it would pay $568M in cash and stock for WildBlue in October. Viasat is a developer of satellite and wireless communications systems.
