TechStars: 6 of 10 Boulder Firms Scored VC Funding

Boulder-based TechStars, the technology business incubation effort, reported Tuesday that, out of the its 2009 class of companies out of its Boulder location, six out of ten of them are set to announced deals led by venture capital firms. The firm said the fundings are all seed rounds ranging from $300,000 to $1.5M, and are a shift from earlier angel funding success b the group. TechStars has an organized effort that helps seed and mentor very early stage Internet startups, relocating them to Boulder for the summer to get the companies bootstrapped.
