Lijit Opens Ad Network

Boulder-based Lijit, a developer of web widgets for bloggers, said Tuesday afternoon that it has opened up its advertising network. According to the firm, it is officially out of beta, and is now offering front page advertising, including banners, skyscrapers, and sidebars; premium advertising from major advertising and brands; and better performance of ads to publishers using its widgets. The new ad network is in addition to the firm's existing search advertising options. Lijit is venture backed by Boulder Ventures, the Foundry Group, and High Country Venture.
