OneRiot Dangles $1,500 In Search Visualization Challenge
Boulder, Colorado-based OneRiot, which operates a real-time search engine, is looking for better ways to visualize its search data--and has turned to its users and developers for ideas. The firm said last night that it will give $1,500 to the individual or company, which comes up with the "most compelling" data visualization using its search API. The firm said the winner will be the participant who can best "creatively and captivatingly communicate the information" from the firm's search services. OneRiot launched an API to its services in June.
