LigoCyte Pharmaceuticals Adds More Funding

Bozeman, Montana-based LigoCyte Pharamceuticals has raised additional funding in the firm's most recently round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm Friday. According to the filing, the firm has now raised $29.49M in its latest funding, up from $28.0M announced by the firm in March of 2008. Source of the additional $1.49M in funding was not disclosed. LigoCyte is developing vaccines for norovirus and influenza infections. The firm has previously raised funding from Forward Ventures, JAFCO, Novartis Venture Fund, Fidelity Biosciences and MedImmune Ventures, Athenian Venture Partners and MC Life Sciences Ventures.
