Pixorial Opens Online Video Collaboration Site

Denver-based startup Pixorial opened up its online video collaboration services this morning, looking to help consumers digitize and share their home movies and other videos with friends and family. The startup, headed by Andres Espineira and Gina Miccio, has built a platform which allows people to collaborate on editing and sharing video memories, mashing up videos from multiple sources in a single web-based interface. The resulting videos can be then burned onto DVD and sent to consumers. Espineira, speaking to Techrockies, said that a good example of the use of the service might be at a soccer game, where multiple people shooting the same game could upload and share their footage, which could be edited into a single DVD of the game for parents.
