MX Logic Acquired By McAfee

Denver-based MX Logic is being acquired by security giant McAfee, McAfee announced Thursday. According to McAfee, it will pay approximately $140M in cash for MX Logic, plus up to $30M in cash in earn-out dependent on performance targets. MX Logic develops email security, archiving and other email messaging services. MX Logic was venture backed by Adams Street Partners, Grayhawk Venture Partners, River Cities Capital Funds, UV Partners and Vista Ventures.
