OneRiot Opens API
Boulder-based OneRiot, a developer of real-time search applications, said today that it has opened up its application programming interface (API) to developers. According to OneRiot, it will now allow third party developers to tap into the company's real time search results to power their own applications. OneRiot said the API can be used to provide realtime search results, trending topics, and other similar offerings on their own web pages. OneRiot's site indexes popular web searches, Twitter messages, and other information to pull out news, stories, videos, and other information people are sharing with their friends. The firm is venture backed by Appian Ventures, Commonwealth Capital, and Spark Capital.
