WildCharge, Pure Energy In Merger Talks

Boulder-based WildCharge, a developer of technology used for recharging portable devices, is in a effort to merge its efforts with Canadian firm Pure Energy Visions. According to Pure Energy Visions, it is negotiating with WildCharge to join forces to market, sell, develop and deliver products which use WildCharge's charging technology as part of a new company. The firm said that the new, Boulder-based company would be equally owned by both Pure Energy and WildCharge, and would focus on development, commercialization, marketing, and worldwide distribution of both Pure Energy and WildCharge products and technologies. The new firm would be headed by WildCharge's CEO, Dennis Grant. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, and the firm did not say how far along the negotiations were. Pure Energy is a developer of rechargeable alkaline batteries.
