Kyocera Solar Signs Distributor

Scottsdale, Arizona-based Kyocera Solar, a developer of solar power systems, said Tuesday that the firm has tapped TESSCO Technologies Incorporated as a distribution partner for its products. According to Kyocera Solar, TESSCO will be the distribution partner for the firm's new line of standard solar power systems for the railroad market. The systems are used for providing off-grid power for industrial and railroad systems. Kyocera Solar is a unit of Kyocera International, which is based in San Diego--Kyocera International itself is a unit of Kyoto, Japan-based Kyocera Corporation.
