AxisPointe Taps Symantec For CEO

Salt Lake City-based AxisPointe, which provides software and services for the facilities management industry, said today that it has hired on the former VP of Sales for Symantec, as the firm's President and CEO. AxisPointe said that Chad Latimer joins the firm, and will be responsible for strategic leadership at the company. Latimer has also previously served at Altiris--which was acquired by Symantec in 2007--as well as WordPerfect, Novell, PowerQuest, and Legato. AxisPointe is a developer of web-based software for managing facilities planning and post-construction customer service.
