Dot Hill Delays Longmont Plans
Dot Hill Systems, a developer of RAID data storage products, said today that it is delaying plans to move its U.S. operations to Longmont, Colorado. The firm said it is delaying the move to preserve cash, in light of the current economic environment. According to Dot Hill, it is instead planning to make the move in 2010. The data storage firm also cut 10 percent of its staff in its current San Diego, California location. Dot Hill Systems develops RAID storage which is used in enterprise environments, telecommunications, and other major customers.
