Revinetix Cuts Energy Use On New Product
Salt Lake City-based data storage firm Revinetix said this week that the latest version of the firm's Volo storage product cuts the amount of energy by 14 percent, compared with its prior versions. Revinextix, which manufactures data storage devices used for backup and recovery, said it has adopted Intel's new Atom processor, which resulted in the energy savings. Revinetix is backed by the Cache Valley Venture Accelerator Club, Grow Utah Ventures, Ogden Angel Investors, and Olympus Angels.
