Accera Gets $35M

Broomfield, Colorado-based Accera announced Tuesday that the biotechnology firm has raised $35M in a Series C funding. According to Accera, the round was led by Inventages Venture Capital SA, and also included POSCO BioVentures and other previous private investors. Accera said the new funding would go towards sales and marketing of the firm's lead products, which are used for treating central nervous system diseases. Wolfgang Reichenberger, Ph.D., of Inventages, has joined Accera's board of directors as part of the funding. More information »
