Valen Hires Executive

Valen Technologies, publisher of a hosted predictive modeling application for the property and casualty insurance industry, reported Tuesday that it has hired Gaetan Veilleux as senior director of predictive analytics. The Denver-based company said Veilleux will direct its predictive modeling efforts and will report to Dan Bankson, Valen's senior vice president of predictive analytics. Valen said Veilleux has 17 years of experience in the property and casualty industry, including having spent a dozen years as an actuary. Before joining Valen, the company noted, he served as a senior consultant with Watson Wyatt.
