Optica Technologies Names Taiwan Distributor

Louisville, Colo.-based Optica Technologies Inc. reported yesterday that it has selected SYSTEX Corp. as its Taiwanese distributor. According to Optica, which manufactures networking and mainframe appliances, SYSTEX will market and support Optica's mainframe infrastructure and tape encryption products. Optica noted that it chose SYSTEX because the latter is a leader in the Asian-Pacific information technology systems and solutions market.
