IHS Buys Documental Solutions

Englewood, Colorado-based IHS said Thursday that it has acquired Documental Solutions LLC, a provider of market intelligence and analysis tools for the defense and aerospace industry. According to IHS, it paid $24.5M in cash for Documental, whose products will be combined with the Jane's Information Group unit at IHS. Documental Solutions develops market analysis and decision support tools for strategic planners and analysts in the defense and aerospace industry. IHS acquired Jane's Information Group in 2007.
