MIOX Raises $19M in Series C Funding

MIOX Corp., a supplier of water treatment systems, said today that has raised a third round of venture financing worth $19 million. The Albuquerque, N.M.-based company said international venture capital firm DCM led the Series C effort. Existing investors Sierra Ventures and Flywheel Ventures also participated, MIOX said. Carlos Perea, MIOX's chief executive officer, said his company will apply the money toward expansion into strategic markets. MIOX develops systems used to treat drinking water. More information »
