Envysion Raises $3M

Envysion Inc., a provider of hosted video surveillance services, announced late Friday that it has closed a third round of venture financing worth some $3 million. The Louisville, Colorado-based business said prior investor Columbia Capital led the effort. Existing investors High Country Ventures and Bear Equity, plus several of Envysion's early angel investors, also participated, the company said. Envysion noted that the bulk of the new funds have been earmarked for product development and to accelerate its sales and marketing efforts. Envysion has raised some $12.5 million in equity investments since its founding in February 2006. More information »
