The Foundry Group Invests In Music Startup

Boulder-based venture capital firm The Foundry Group said today that it has made an investment in Topspin Media, a high profile Southern California firm focused on helping music artists manage their media catalogs and other assets. Amount of the Series B investment was not disclosed. The investment is the first made by Foundry's Ryan McIntyre and Jason Mendelson. Topspin Media is headed by former Yahoo! Music General Manager Ian Rogers. Topspin Media has previously raised funding from Redpoint Ventures.
