Miragen Therapeutics Raises $8M

Boulder, Colorado-based Miragen Therapeutics said this morning that it has raised $8M in a Series A investment. The funding was co-led by Atlas Venture and Boulder Ventures, along with unnamed individuals. The firm said it is focused on discovery and development of therapies for cardiovascular and muscle disease, based on microRNA biology. The new funding will go towards research and development.
