Intermap Reels in $8.1M Digital Mapping Contract
Denver-based digital mapping firm Intermap Technologies Corp. revealed Thursday that one of its subsidiaries has lanced an $8.1 million contract to provide 3-D digital elevation data and ortho-rectified radar imagery for an international project. Intermap neglected to identify the project or the client. However, Intermap said its subsidiary, Intermap Federal Services Inc., will use proprietary technology to collect and deliver radar-mapping services to that client. Intermap added that the project will begin this year and is expected to conclude early next year. Intermap employs more than 660 people worldwide and maintains additional offices in Detroit, Washington D.C., London, Munich, Prague, Jakarta, and Calgary and Ottawa, Canada.
