VoipReview Sold To Secret Buyer
Denver-based VoipReview.org, a comparison-shopping Web site for broadband phone service, reported this morning that it has been sold to an undisclosed buyer. In addition to not naming its new owner, the company also declined to disclose the financial terms of the deal. Denver entrepreneurs Eric Laughlin and Gary Gaessler founded the company in late 2003. VoipReview.org claims that more than 8 million visitors have used the site since to find, compare or purchase Voice-over-IP telephone services. The site allows shoppers to search for residential and business VoIP service providers and sort results based on price, features, local availability and user ratings and reviews.
