Fourteen40 Acquired By Follett Corporation

Fourteen40, a Salt Lake City-based firm which develops the Web 2.0 social networking site CafeScribe, has been acquired by Follett Corporation, Follett said Monday. Financial terms were not disclosed. CafeScribe is an online web site focused on students, which allows students to browse, purchase, and download eBooks. According to Follett, the two companies successfully piloted CafeScribe at a numnber of universities and community colleges last year.
