Qwest Signs Fat Spaniel

Qwest Communications, a Denver-based provider of Internet services, has signed on renewable energy monitoring firm Fat Spaniel Technologies as a customer. Fat Spaniel said Thursday that the firm has transferred its data center operations to Qwest's CyberCenter. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to Fat Spaniel it made the move in order to help the firm with Sarbanes Oxley compliance and to better scale its service infrastructure. Venture backed Fat Spaniel operates a service which monitors and reports on renewable energy systems, including solar electric, solar water, and wind systems.
