Copper Conferencing Buys The Conference Depot for $11M
Copper Conferencing, a provider of audio-, Web- and video-conferencing services, announced Tuesday that it has purchased The Conference Depot, a publisher of audio- and Web-conferencing software. Copper Conferencing said it financed the $11 million deal through an equity investment by NewWest Capital Partners of Denver and through debt financing from Bush O;Donnell Capital Partners LLC of St. Louis. Copper Conferencing added that, as a result of the transaction, it has enhanced its small- to medium-sized business offerings. The Conference Depot is based in Carlsbad, Calif. Copper Conferencing is a privately held company headquartered in Broomfield, Colo.
