Lijit Networks Acquires Blog Indexer BigSwerve

Lijit Networks Inc., a publisher of blog search and statistics tools, revealed today that it has acquired BigSwerve, a blog indexer analyzes and sorts blog comments. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Also established in 2006, Lijit Networks is best known for its flagship Lijit Search Wijit, a utility that gives readers the ability to actively search blog publishers' posts, bookmarks and blogrolls. BigSwerve was founded in 2006. Lijit is venture backed by Boulder Ventures, High Country Venture, and venture capitalist Brad Feld.
