Vertical Pitch Acquired By Edgewater Technology

Information technology consulting firm Edgewater Technology Inc. reported Monday that has completed its acquisition of Colorado-based Vertical Pitch LLC, a provider of corporate performance management services. Edgewater said the deal is worth a total compensation of some $20 million, which includes $14 million in cash and approximately $6 million in Edgewater common stock. Headquartered in Denver, Vertical Pitch reported gross service revenues of some $10 million for the most recent 12-month period. Based in Wakefield, Mass., Edgewater said the transaction will expand its national footprint and bolsters its presence in the corporate performance management and business intelligence sectors.
