SkyeTek Inks Distribution Deal with Digi-Key

SkyeTek Inc., a manufacturer of embedded radio frequency identification computer chips, revealed Thursday that it has signed a distribution agreement with electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corp. SkyeTek said Digi-Key will stock SkyeTek ultra-high-frequency and high-frequency RFID reader modules and developer kits, which engineers use to integrate RFID functionality into their designs. SkyeTek added that its entire line of RFID reader modules and developer kits are now available for same-day shipping to North American customers through Digi-Key's web site. Headquartered in Westminster, Colo., SkyeTek sells its RFID-related hardware and software exclusively through original equipment manufacturers, systems integrators and distributors. Digi-Key is based in Thief River Falls, Minn.
