Packsize Lands $4.6M Investment from Peterson
Venture capital investment firm Peterson Partners announced Thursday that it has invested $4.6 million in Packsize Corp., a supplier of on-demand corrugated packaging materials. Originally founded in Northern Europe, Packsize is now headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company is best known for its novel “Right-Sized Packaging on Demand” system that replaces the conventional corrugated supply chain by eliminating the need for large inventories of pre-ordered cardboard boxes. This alternative method, Packsize explained, shrinks the packaging footprint and cuts labor costs associated with boxing and shipping. Also based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Peterson Partners invests in small- to mid-sized companies throughout the U.S. Intermountain West. Founded in 1995, Peterson says it now manages more than $300 million in four funds. More information »
