Poetrypicture.com Debuts Poetry Social Networking Site

PoetryPicture.com, a social-networking Web site for poetry enthusiasts, announced Tuesday that it has officially launched. Terry Friedlander, the site's founder, said PoetryPicture.com should help make creative writing fun for people of all ages. Friedlander explained that the site accomplishes this by uniting thought-provoking photographs with customized keywords. The photo/poem combinations, called "Piclits," are formed by either dragging and dropping keywords onto a picture or by creating unique compositions in a "Freestyle" mode. Founded in 2006, PoetryPicture.com is headquartered in Ketchum, Idaho.
