Frontier Scientific Acquires Echelon Biosciences

Logan, Utah-based Frontier Scientific said this morning that it has acquired Salt Lake City's Echelon Biosciences, Inc., from Aeterna Zentaris, Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Frontier is a chemical developer, manufacturer, and custom research services provider for the pharmaceutical and other industries; Echelon Biosciences is focused on development of potential drugs and diagnostics for cancer, diabetes, inflammation, infections, and cardiovascular disease.
