LifeLock Signs Deal with AAA Connecticut

LifeLock, a provider of consumer identity theft protection services, revealed Monday that it will discount its personal data security services for AAA Connecticut Motor Club members and employees. The AAA Connecticut Motor Club is a AAA affiliate that offers travel, insurance, financial and automotive-related services to more than 500,000 members in Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven counties. Headquartered in Tempe, Ariz., LifeLock explained that its system works by setting and automatically renewing fraud alerts with the major credit bureaus, removing member names from pre-approved credit card offers and junk mailing lists, and insuring the service with a $1 million guarantee.
