Certiport, ETS to Co-Develop Digital Skills Test

Certiport, a provider of workforce training and certification services, revealed Tuesday that it has teamed with non-profit testing firm Education Testing Service to jointly market their flagship products to educational, government and corporate customers. Certiport explained that client employees can use Certiport's Internet and Computer Core Certification, or IC3, application to develop and validate their basic computer hardware, software and Internet knowledge. Then, Certiport added, those same individuals can use ETS' Information and Communications Technologies Literacy Workforce Assessment to measure their ability to employ those skills in an actual workplace setting. Founded in 1947, Educational Testing Service is headquartered in Princeton, N.J. Certiport is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
