LANDesk Hires VP

LANDesk Software Ltd., a publisher of information technology service management applications for the enterprise, reported Monday that it has hired Michael W. Hall as vice president of worldwide sales. LANDesk described Hall as a management veteran with more than two decades of experience. Most recently, Hall was chief executive officer of Senforce Technologies, an endpoint security company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to that, Hall served as vice president of sales and strategic alliances at LANDesk. He has also held executive positions at Novell, Vignette and IBM. An Avocent company, LANDesk is headquartered in Salt Lake City.
