Rogue Wave Adds Intel Xeon 7300 Support
Boulder, Colorado-based Rogue Wave Software, a supplier of products for the software development market, said Thursday that the firm's Hydra product suite now supports Intel's new Xeon 7300 multi-core processor. The company's Hydra product is used to by software developers for writing applications, specifically for developing Software Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications. SOA is a technique used by software developers to exchange information between components and applications, using XML and the SOAP data interchange protocol. The firm's Hydra product specifically takes advantage of software pipelining techniques, which increase performance of software on multi-core processors like Intel'x Xeon.
