eSoft Signs UK Distributor

Internet security software developer eSoft Inc. reported today that it has signed a distribution agreement with C-MI Labs Plc Distribution, a value-added distributor of security products based in the United Kingdom. As part of the agreement, C-MI Labs will distribute eSoft's line of InstaGate UTM firewalls, plus ThreatWall Email Security and Web Security gateways. eSoft explained that InstaGate combines a deep-packet firewall and VPN with various security services designed to provide protection from network threats such as worms, viruses, spyware and intrusion attacks. The ThreatWall Email Security Gateway provides similar protection for e-mail-based services, while the Web Security Gateway provides browser-based Web and URL filtering. eSoft is headquartered in Broomfield, Colo.
