Webroot Unveils Anti-Spyware Application
Boulder, Colorado-based security application developer Webroot Software Inc. revealed Tuesday that it has released a new network integrity tool called Webroot AntiSpyware Corporate Edition with AntiVirus. Webroot said the new product is a re-branded version of Webroots SME Security 3.1 and that a stand-alone version without the anti-virus feature, AntiSpyware Corporate Edition, is a re-branding of Spy Sweeper Enterprise 3.0. The company also said registered customers can upgrade their existing Webroot security titles at no cost. The firm said that an English version of the new title is already available for purchase and that French, German and Japanese versions will be introduced at a later date.
