Highway 12 Ventures Raises $75M Venture Fund
Highway 12 Ventures, a Boise, Idaho-based venture capital fund, said today that it has raised a $75M second venture capital fund. The new fund, Highway 12 Ventures II, will focus on early-stage investments in the Intermountain West states of Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Montana. The fund follows Highway 12 Ventures I, which debuted in 2001 and was capitalized at $25M. According to Highway 12, limited partners in the new fund include the Public Retirement System of Idaho, The Montana Board of Investments, Darwin Ventures and The Utah Fund of Funds. Highway 12 counts @Last Software, Attensity, OpenLogic, and other firms in its portfolio. The funding was first reported by the Montana Associated Technology Roundtable (MATR).
