ENERPULSE Raises $5.5M

Albuquerque, New Mexico-based ENERPULSE, a firm developing spark plug technology, said Friday that it has raised $5.5M in a Series B funding. The round came from SAIL Venture Partners and Denver-based Altira Group. ENERPULSE said that its automotive ignition device is 20,000 times more powerful than a conventional spark plug, and will improve fuel efficiency, torque, and horsepower in vehicles. According to the firm, the firm's product, Pulstar, is a drop-in-replacement for current spark plugs. More information »
