First Data Makes Investment In Contactless Payment Firm

Denver, Colorado-based First Data said Thursday that it has invested in a California-based developer of wireless connectivity terminals. First Data said that it led the Series C round for ViVOtech, whose products are used for contactless payment terminals used in retail locations. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. Denver-based First Data is a provider of payment and credit processing services.
