Mozy Inks Contract With GE

Salt Lake City-based Berkeley Data Systems, operator of the Mozy online backup service, announced Monday afternoon that it has signed a global contract with GE to provide remote backup services for the firm's employees. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mozy is backed by Drew Major, co-founder of Novell, Tim Draper of Draper, Fisher, Jurvetson, and Wasatch Ventures.
